Our data suggests 5% weight reduction in 100% subjects, 10% reduction in 70% of subjects and 15% reduction in 40% of subjects who participated in this program over the last 10 yrs. This program essentially works on restricting calorie intake, manipulating the composition of the diet and controlling the energy expenditure with the help of physical exercise. Individuals who partake this program also receive psycho-social support and assistance to relive stress.

Some examples of popular diet plans and programs that we use routinely include the Atkins diet, The South Beach Diet, Cutting carbs / no-carb diets, Ketogenic diet, High-protein diets and Paleo diet. The selection of a particular diet is based on various factors including age, gender, comorbidities socio-cultural and dietary preferences of an individual.

All of these diets have their proponents, and all of them have been successful for some people. Finally losing weight is the easier part of the program and the daunting task ahead will be the maintenance phase of the program.
